  • As the phone name suggests, it is wi-fi enabled, unfortunately though the web browser isn't exactly the best it could be
  • I found that while searching numerous sites, including wikipedia, the browser would just shutdown for no reason at all
  • The sound quality is pretty good, unfortunately though the volume doesn't go very high making it sortof hard to be able to listen to your music, unfortunately this is a recurring problem with Samsung

I won this phone a little over a month ago at a county fair, and after using it for month I decided to review it. The phone itself is very user friendly, aloows for easy access to all of the primary functions even when multitasking. The phone offers all of the basic functions one would expect to find in a modern phone while still managing to keep it very simple.

As the phone name suggests, it is wi-fi enabled, unfortunately though the web browser isn’t exactly the best it could be. I found that while searching numerous sites, including wikipedia, the browser would just shutdown for no reason at all.

Sometimes the wi-fi function will also malfunction either by not being able to connect to a hotspot or by randomly losing a connection. The display quality isn’t as bright/crisp as other samsung models, nor is the screen as big.

Regardless of this the Corby battery seems to last significantly less when compared to my Samsung Jet. It could just be a factory malfunction, but the same thing happened with an origilanal replacement battery. The sound quality is pretty good, unfortunately though the volume doesn’t go very high making it sortof hard to be able to listen to your music, unfortunately ...

this is a recurring problem with Samsung.

The phone offers nothing more or less than other mobiles in the same price range. I personally didn’t like this phone, both from an estetic point of view as well as from funtionality.

From a completely impartial point of view though I do admit it is a good phone, especially if used as a backup phone or as a gift for a small child.

The Corby is very durable, not indestructible, but will resist inevitable falls and most scratches. The screen although resistant, is also a fingerprint/dust magnet. You also have to be very careful when cleaning it that there are no abrasive particles on the screen prior to cleaning it or you will damage to touch sensitive screen.

All in all a good phone, but if you have a higher budget opt for a newer model.
