Tesco Authentic Italian Quick Cook Fusilli Pasta
  • I never buy expensive pasta – except when I am occasionally treating myself to fresh pasta – and I cannot remember exactly what I paid but I know this was an economy price of under £1 for a decent sized 500g bag
  • They are also quite small which I prefer and when cooked, they stay tightly coiled and become very springy
  • It says on the label that these are not suitable for microwave cooking but I can assure you that I have cooked them perfectly in the microwave and this is something else I like about them
  • This is a great dried pasta product at an economical price from Tesco that I would wholly recommend you try

This is great pasta from Tesco’s own brand because it is so easy to cook and it just refuses to get stuck together. I am not a patient cook and sometimes I even forget to stir my pasta as I get involved in something else, but I have never got this wrong – it always come out perfect. I never buy expensive pasta – except when I am occasionally treating myself to fresh

pasta – and I cannot remember exactly what I paid but I know this was an economy price of under £1 for a decent sized 500g bag.

Fusilli pasta, just in case you did not know is pasta twists and these particular twists are like tightly coiled springs, tighter than most fusilli. They are also quite small which I prefer and when cooked, they stay tightly coiled and become very springy.

      These only take ...

      • 5 minutes to cook. Just pop them in boiling water on the hob, you should give them the odd stir, just in case, and they are done in just 5 minutes and are perfectly cooked. It says on the label that these are not suitable for microwave cooking but I can assure you that I have cooked them perfectly in the microwave and this is something else I like about them.

        The packet is

resealable and it actually stays stuck down too. I like pasta twists with cheese sauce or pesto, spinach leaves and pine nuts and that is delicious. This is a great dried pasta product at an economical price from Tesco that I would wholly recommend you try. The pasta always comes out perfect with just 5 minutes of boiling, so I like this for its total convenience and I must buy it again.
