Boss by Hugo Boss was recently repackage and they came up with this “Night” version. The packaging was entirely different in a way that they used black as the color of the bottle compared to the original Boss which was transparent. The appearance does not really tell of it being another scent, perhaps one would say it is a rehash of an old balm but I find it different in some sort. The packaging was not too creative though but

I have to give credit to it given it is a repackaged edition.

The opening was somewhat citrus to me even if it was lavender and birch tree wood were the notes. It smells similar to the original when it opened. However, the citrus smell was momentary and it did not retain well as it lightens up. Right after I noticed grassy character of lavender, it was aromatic yet already woody from the start. Then violet made the heart ...

      • alluring. Similar to the original where it has a little floral nuance, violet gave it this time. Then so much of woody smell was experienced during the dry down and the perennial musk which was included on the original scent.

The scent streamlines common characteristics for night life and that is ruthless effects of heavy aromatic tastes like lavender and heavier woody hints. The common inspiration is the formality during this time with an added glamour to this special

time. The scent is too limited if its inspiration is to be picked up. Do you need a special scent for a specific night agenda? Your day scent is enough to give you that stretch if it has good longevity. However, the scent is perfect for a night affairs because it reduces the entire smell into a revolting piece of masculinity. It has this ballsy attitude that retains or makes me imagine somebody in his tux or simply a casual attire.
