Our baby boy was born in February 2010.

We brought most of the baby equipment needed in January 2010 including a City Mini Baby Jogger Stroller. The stroller cost the equivalent of approximately US$420 from a baby store in Brisbane, Australia. I have seen it quite a bit cheaper at internet shopping sites.

I think this stroller is really great. Absolutely the best aspect of this stroller is its one hand folding mechanism. It is so simple to use, you just pull the stroller up by the handle in the middle of the seat and the

stroller folds. The stroller is also very lightweight, weighing less than 17lbs or less than 8kgs. When folded, the stroller is very compact and a clip prevents the stroller from opening up again.

This stroller is very comfortable to push over both flat paths and also on somewhat rugged terrain. When pushing, it accurately goes in the direction that you want and it is also very easy to steer, with its very flexible front wheels. The front wheels also lock into position when necessary, for example to provide additional control on rough ground. Since the ...

      • stroller can turn in its own space it is very easy to steer through compact areas such as shopping aisles and on public transport.

The stroller is good for babies from birth all the way up to a weight of around 50lbs (about 23 kgs). This is a bit less than some strollers available on the market but this is a small price to pay in return for the stroller being so lightweight. The seat can recline almost to the horizontal, perfect for a newborn.

So far the stroller has not suffered any damage, all of

the stitching looks very professional and overall the stroller feels rugged and able to sustain some knocking about.

Another nice touch is that the stroller has two clear windows within the sunshade so you can have a peak at baby at any time without pulling the sunshade up. There is also an underside basket that provides some space for belongings, though it could certainly be a little bigger.

Overall, I don’t have any real complaints about the City Mini Baby Jogger Stroller and would highly recommend it to parents who want a lightweight, easy to fold stroller.
