  • I was given this eye shadow as a gift, and therefore don't really know how much it must have cost, however - the brand name suggests that it was a fairly expensive one, though
  • The eye shadow comes as a compact powder within a small case, with a small, curved brush for application, but - unfortunately - without a tiny mirror which could easily have fit inside the box
  • When applied with more pressure or with a wet brush, the colour becomes extremely visible, dark and distinct, definitely suitable only for evening make up
  • I definitely recommend the eye shadow, and have been quite happy using it so far

I was given this eye shadow as a gift, and therefore don’t really know how much it must have cost, however - the brand name suggests that it was a fairly expensive one, though.

The eye shadow comes as a compact powder within a small case, with a small, curved brush for application, but - unfortunately - without a tiny mirror which could easily have fit inside the box. My particular colour

is dark purple, somewhat matte, and its hue changes depending on the method of application.

When applied lightly and with a dry brush, the colour achieved can be slightly pale; however, it is still rather inappropriate as part of work make up. When applied with more pressure or with a wet brush, the colour becomes extremely visible, dark and distinct, definitely suitable only for evening make up. The colour is deep and quite ...

      • pretty; however, considering its well-defined hue, it needs to be carefully matched with clothing and the rest of the make up, and can easily clash, especially with any lipstick. In fact, black or brown-ish kohl or eyeliner and a bit of mascara seem to complement it best, and any further attempts to use other colourful make up may result in a fashion disaster.

The eye shadow is quite resistant, and can survive a

relatively long time with hardly any adjustments. Moreover, it tends to merely become less pronounced with time rather than gather in unseemly clods. Finally, it is easily removed without the need to apply waterproof makeup removing lotions.

I definitely recommend the eye shadow, and have been quite happy using it so far. However, the brush that it comes with is not terribly good and in fact, I never use it, preferring my own separately purchased applicators.
