I purchased the Samsung Alias 2 about a year ago– I ended up with this phone mostly because I liked the innovative e-ink keypad that allows you to use the keyboard in both ways–both in the traditional sense and in keyboard form. The A2 looks pretty slick and hi-tech, especially with the smart technology that changes the figures on the keypad and its ability to flip both upwards and sideways. The other pros include a large
screen and an excellent camera providing high resolution photos, albeit without a flash. Also, the battery life and call quality are both exceptional. My other Verizon phones wouldn’t be able to last a day without needing to be recharged, while this one I’ve gone for up to 3 1/2 days before needing to charge it.
However, there are also some cons that come with this phone. The thing that bothered me the most were the keys.
