  • I think it actually says L & R on the sign
  • If you ask they will tell you the used tires will only last about a year, but I did not have any problem with them until I got rid of my Mustang a couple years later
  • Another thing I like about the place is that they are extremely quick
  • English is a second language for most of the employees, but in my experience all have been polite, helpful and easy to understand

Ever been out driving and heard that dreaded POP that means you just ran over a nail? I have…it is all too common in my town. I can’t afford to plunk down $150-$400 dollars for a new tire either, so I was really happy when a friend of a friend told me about this little out of the way place. LNR Tires is really easy to miss. I find it by heading West on Fowler (with the University behind me) and going to Nebraska, then turning left. It is just before you get to

Busch on the right hand side, with fencing around it. I think it actually says L & R on the sign.

When I had my Mustang convertible, I replaced two of the tires here with their reconditioned tires. They are very cheap, from $20 to $50 depending on the tire style. Of course big SUV’s and truck tires would be more expensive. If you ask they will tell you the used tires will only last about a year, but I did not have any problem with them until I got rid of my Mustang ...

      • a couple years later. I have had tire leaks fixed there for just $7. Their new tires are more expensive, but since I have not purchased any new tires from them I can’t say whether they are a good deal. I just know these people never advertise but they are ALWAYS busy.

Another thing I like about the place is that they are extremely quick. No appointments, no waiting. You drive in, fifteen minutes later you are usually done, unless they are taking some extra time to find you the very best tire. English

is a second language for most of the employees, but in my experience all have been polite, helpful and easy to understand. If you go there, be sure to bring cash! There is an ATM across the street, but it is a pain to walk over there. They only accept cash and that is fine with me considering their prices. This place has helped me out of a bind many a time!

I wish I knew more about tire specifications so that I could tell you more. If you need to call them their phone number is 813-930-2101.
