  • The purses are also very expensive, and from personal experience, are not worth the price paid
  • In this case, I did not get quality for the price I paid
  • The clothing selection is not the best, as it targets more middle aged and elderly women, so the selection can be a bit ugly and outdated
  • Overall, the store is very well run, with a dedicated, friendly woman, but the items inside just aren't worth the money in my opinion

I am reviewing the clothing store K. Jackson & Co. , located in Emmetsburg, This store opened in the small town of Emmetsburg, IA nearly five years ago, after its local Dollar store went out of business.

It is a unique store that always is presented very professionally and uniquely from the outside and inside. The display windows, for example, display very unique styles of clothing and items, which do well in attracting customers.

Inside, this small store offers a variety of clothing for women, or,

most specifically, for middle aged and elderly women. In addition to clothing, this store offers unique jewelry, purses, scarves, hats, and billfolds.

The store’s main employee is also very friendly and extremely helpful. She is always willing to go the extra mile for her customers, and always makes them feel that their business is extremely important to her.

She goes out of her way to make sure her customers get what they want, and is constantly available for help. This store also frequently offers ...

      • sales on all of its items.

Having said this, however, this small store has extremely expensive prices on its items, especially for its small town location. The clothing, for example, ranges from $50 onward, which can get very expensive, especially for a single blouse.

The purses are also very expensive, and from personal experience, are not worth the price paid. For example, I spent $40 on a purse, only to have its zipper break a week later.

When I went in to exchange it

for another, the same thing happened to the next purse. In this case, I did not get quality for the price I paid.

I also personally don’t think the clothes are as great as the prices paid either. The clothing selection is not the best, as it targets more middle aged and elderly women, so the selection can be a bit ugly and outdated.

Overall, the store is very well run, with a dedicated, friendly woman, but the items inside just aren’t worth the money in my opinion.
