In today’s society, the trend is beginning to revert toward classics in whether fashion, design, etc. In a similar sense, in the world of gaming, classics are being appraised for more than ever. When games develop more realistically and creatively year by year, many of the truly fun and entertaining games are simply the classic oldies that have survived throughout the years of progress and improvement.

Nintendo 64 serves as an epitome of this classic gaming definition of fun. I came back upon this game a few days ago while cleaning my closet, and noticed that there was a black Nintendo sitting in the corner.

At that very moment, I decided it was time to reminisce of an age before realistic first person shooters and massive online role playing games. Tending to be fairly organized, the first game I chose was Mario Tennis.

character is creatively made with their own strengths and weaknesses fit with the composure of their character’s look provide a sense of light levity of the games atmosphere that make it perfect for kids all ages.

However, the best thing of the game is the game’s level of difficulty. Unlike many games, Mario Tennis isn’t as easy to perfect.

The controls are simple, but the wide selections of different combinations to execute these controls are

brilliant for a game in that time era. Sadly, the only way to beat the higher levels is to simply charging to the net.

It is near impossible to stay at the baseline at hit balls after balls, since the computer is computed to last forever. All in all, Mario Tennis is must have for any Nintendo fan or any dedicated gamer.

Though basic, Mario Tennis provides countless hours of fun and challenges that can entertain any age.
