Death of a Goes Hunter is a low-budget horror movie. Like most low-budget horror movies, it suffers from some flaws. The acting is not that good, the camera work is sloppy, and the whole thing has an unprofessional feel.

However, despite these flaws, I really enjoyed this movie. The movie makes up for its unprofessional look with a great story.

In fact, the script one a Best Screenplay Award for horror movies in

2007. In my opinion, this would’ve made a good big-budget picture.

The plot was better than many big-budget horror movies I have seen. It reminded me a little bit of a low-budget The Sixth Sense.

The story concerns a haunted house. A paranormal investigator, who is herself a skeptic, is hired to spend several nights in the house recording possible paranormal phenomena.

In this house, a minister and his children were murdered, and his ...

      • wife committed suicide. It is suspected that the ghosts are still in the house.

The investigator intends to record EVP’s — voices that are inaudible to the human ear and that may come from ghosts. She is joined by reporter, a photographer, and a woman who claims to be representative of the church of the late Reverand.

Soon, it becomes clear that she is not who she claims to be, as strange phenomenon begins

to be recorded. The investigators report strange voices and images on tape.

It becomes clear that the house is indeed very haunted. We know from the beginning of the story that the ghost Hunter does not survive — we know this from the title, as well as the introduction.

Still, the movie manages to be suspenseful. This movie really is a low-budget treasure, which should have had more acclaim.

        I enjoyed a great deal.
