  • The first time I used it, I noticed that the steam was a little weaker than I thought it would be
  • I found it to be a bit too scratchy, but I still use it once in a while when my face gets dry or flaky
  • I would consider this product a luxury rather than a necessity, since I get similar results just spending 20 minutes in a steamy shower
  • I think the product works better as a congestion reliever than it does as a beauty treatment
  • I would recommend it to anyone looking for sinus pressure relief or asthma symptom relief, but as a beauty product, I don't consider it worth the $25 price tag

I received this product as a gift from my husband after asking for it for Christmas. I had seen the facial system on TV and it looked like something that would be a nice addition to my beauty routine. I had been steaming my face in the sink, and figured this facial sauna would work better. So, when I saw that my husband had purchased ti for me, I was very excited.

The first time I used it, I noticed that the steam was a little weaker than I thought it would be. I placed my face really close to the top of the steamer, but it still wasn’t as strong as I would have liked. I liked how it felt though, it was really

relaxing. The system also comes with a sponge and an exfoliator. The sponge is useless, I ended up throwing that away. The directions say that the sponge is for applying moisturizer after steaming, but I can just as easily use my finger tips for that. Plus once the sponge became all full of lotion, it had to be cleaned every time I wanted to use it. I did use the exfoliator attachment though, and that felt similar to sand paper on my face. I found it to be a bit too scratchy, but I still use it once in a while when my face gets dry or flaky. The attachment is really just a brush, but when it spins around, the bristles feel ...

      • really coarse on my skin.

I also found another use for this product. When anyone in our family has a cold or allergies or any kind of sinus issues, the steamer sauna does help relieve congestion and sinus pressure. All the members of my family have used this product for that purpose, and we have all felt the benefits of it. I have also used it when I have a cold and I am having trouble breathing due to asthma. Breathing in the steam is really soothing when it’s hard to breathe.

So, for me this product has more than one use. For a beauty treatment, it does seem to clean my pores and soften my skin, but I wish the steam were a bit stronger and

more forceful. It improves the appearance of my skin slightly, but sometimes it seems that it’s not worth the trouble of even getting the product out of the cupboard. I would consider this product a luxury rather than a necessity, since I get similar results just spending 20 minutes in a steamy shower.

I think the product works better as a congestion reliever than it does as a beauty treatment.

Overall, I am happy that my husband got me this gift, and I am glad that other members of my family can also get some use out of it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for sinus pressure relief or asthma symptom relief, but as a beauty product, I don’t consider it worth the $25 price tag
