This game is a version of Cranium for very young children. I guess Hasbro thought that because Cranium was so popular, smaller children might like something too.

This game is quite different from Cranium, with its clay, drawing, and acting out. It’s more of a matching game but there are funny steps to it which make it feel a bit more like Cranium, although

in other ways, you wonder why the name Cranium is even on it. Still, even disagreeing with the name, it is an interesting game: you pick up a card, and you either have to choose one of the squares that matches by colour, by letter, or by number. When you use the “key” to open that square, you look to see if the ball ...

      • is there. Simple and a bit silly. I was expecting something with the clay and the drawing though, so I was a bit surprised at the game.

Of course, after kids have gotten bored with the cards (or have lost them), they just roll the ball in and then madly open the squares to see if they can find the ball. (You can use a

pen instead of the little key to open the squares).

The game is well made, with the appealing little treasure chest and the squares that flip open when pressed. It is really easy to lose the balls though, as they inevitably get taken out and played with and they are small.

It’s a good game that can keep little kids entertained for quite a while even without adult assistance.
