I’ve been considering sprucing up the homestead for a long time now. And, now I’ve finally got the spare cash to finally knuckle down, roll my sleeves up and think about the project; I’ve been forced to consider what exactly I’m after.
One room I really need to concentrate on is the bedrooms. I haven’t purchased new furniture in about 10 years, and since then the types of styles on offer seems to have exploded. There’s a simple bedside table that comes with a bottom shelving compartment and a top draw with generous dimensions meaning the top surface won’t mean all by bits and bobs will be fighting for space. The top drawer looks particularly useful, with equally generous dimensions meaning you’ll be able to store all your important bedroom necessities
for easy access. The bottom shelf space is also a welcome addition, and will prove ideal for storing your favourite bedtime reading material or anything bulky you want to keep close at hand. Other than books, this looks the perfect spot for a recharging dock for your phone or I-Pod, or even a handy place to store your laptop if you like to surf the net under the covers.
The second piece in the set is a classic looking 2 door wardrobe that boasts more than enough space for all your garments. There’s no interior shelves unfortunately, but there’s a standard hanging rail with enough width that you won’t be short of hanging space. The wardrobe looks great, simple and solid and at a very reasonable £75 you could always invest in a second one if you’re particularly short of space.
The third and final piece in the set is an impressive four drawer chest of drawers. This item packs plenty of space and there’s more than enough space for all your folded shirts, jeans and undergarments. For the average person, there’s more than space for additional storage, and there’s bound to be a spare ...
