  • I only drink Coca-Cola and Pepsi products, all in regular and not in diet or zero calories, and now I know why I won't ever try drinking them even if they had lower calories or lower sugar
  • I might as well drink what I like rather than drink what I don't like, I would only be kidding myself
  • I won't really recommend this to regular Coke and Pepsi lovers, you would just compare it with the regular and won't really vow to go back drinking this one again

I was eager to drink this as all the hype has drawn attention to Pepsi Max because it had zero sugar! I eagerly bought a 500 ml bottle at our school canteen and gulped down a huge amount of soda, at first it really was great-tasting, it just seemed like regular Pepsi, but after a few seconds there was a lingering taste in my throat that seemed as if I had just drank some medicine! There was bitter strong aftertaste, and boy did it taste awful! I had heard some

friends tell me it’s just like drinking regular Pepsi but better because it’s minus the sugar and the calories alright, but what they left out is that it’s also minus the taste!

When I drink this, it’s as if there’s a fake regular Pepsi taste at your first sip, but after that the aftertaste sorts of draws the regular taste away, thus leaving you with a really bitter medicine-like taste in your mouth that is just awful.

I might as well drink what I like rather than drink what I don’t like, I would only be kidding myself. I actually gave this drink another chance at another occasion, thinking maybe my tastebuds were just wrong that first time I tasted it, but it had the same awful aftertaste as well! I won’t really recommend this to regular Coke and Pepsi lovers, you would just compare
it with the regular and won’t really vow to go back drinking this one again. They had a good idea but not a good-enough product, too bad. But still, it’s a good alternative for people who does not want to get fat and it’s the lesser evil of the 2 options in drinking sodas, I still am happy they created this because I know this is what the other people are drinking who does not want sugar and maybe who are diabetic and watching their weight. Still a win-win situation for all of us.
