  • Dylan comes in with the vocals after about a minute into the song and he sings along with a female throughout the majority of the track along with some background vocals as well which actually benefit the overall sound quite a bit in my opinion
  • The track does have a somewhat repetitive feel to it but I think the song has a calming atmosphere to be honest and this is what really helps carry the track, I can understand some people not enjoying the song but I personally really like it

Death Is Not The End is a song by Bob Dylan which appears on his record Down In The Groove. For whatever reason, I went into this track really not expecting all that much but to be honest, I was pretty surprised by the time the song ended. The track starts off with a very slow tempo and maintains this tempo throughout the song, although it does somewhat build up as it

approaches the close of the track for a brief amount of time, so if this isn’t too appealing, then you may not want to continue. Also, the basic rhythm which is set up in the intro with the bass and drums is constant and the harmonica line you hear is the vocal melody for the track, so right from the intro you can really decide whether or not you want to give ...

      • this song a chance, I’m glad that I did to be honest. Dylan comes in with the vocals after about a minute into the song and he sings along with a female throughout the majority of the track along with some background vocals as well which actually benefit the overall sound quite a bit in my opinion. The lyrics frequently return to the title of the track with Dylan singing the words
death is not the end” and it has a nice sound to be honest, I was genuinely surprised at how good this track was to be honest. The track does have a somewhat repetitive feel to it but I think the song has a calming atmosphere to be honest and this is what really helps carry the track, I can understand some people not enjoying the song but I personally really like it.
