      Well, so far, I have liked most of the Futurama episodes I have been watching with my daughter over the past couple of days. But, the season 1 episode Fear of a Bot Planet was actually kind of weak compared to most of the others.

      The problem with this episode


      is it is way too predictable.

      The Planet Express crew are given a mission to a planet inhabited by rebellious robots who hate humans so, naturally, you know it is only a matter of time before Bender (who is feeling sorry for himself because he feels as though he’s being treated just as a machine) decides to join them.

      Leela and Fry, of course, go on the planet to rescue him and end up in trouble themselves only to have Bender choose his human friends over his robot friends.

      Now, to be fair, the episode does have its moments.

      costumes Leela and Fry put together are so fake it is actually funny when the robots fall for them.

      And, that part where Fry needs to pee and is mistaken for a robot with a fluid leak was definitely entertaining.

      However, I feel, overall, the lack of effort in this

      episode was weak at best.

      That whole part with the robot dance, for example, just wasn’t funny and they decided to use that joke a couple different times.

      I do still like the show and look forward to more episodes of it.

      But, this is one I wouldn’t bother watching again if given a chance.
