      My mother purchased this device for her business. It wasn’t faulty at first, but as soon as her warranty expired, the machine stopped sending and receiving faxes and became incompatible with the dell computer she had purchased also.

      My mother became furious.

      We think that Dell Company sends signals through

      the internet to their products so that they will become faulty in order to have their customers purchased an extended warranty or a new product.

      This machine was fascinating at first and did the jobs we gave it to do with no mistakes or complications until the warranty expired.

I`m trying to scan and it ask for `id` and i hit `select` but nothing happens. Usually i hit `scan` then `select` then it scans. The message that appears is stating `no id listed` Is there something i need to reset? Please advise.

No ID List problem generally happens when you don’t configure the remote setup as suggested by Dell. Please make sure also you are able to discover the destination server from that network location. Also, install the network scan software. If it has already been installed, then again install after completing uninstalling it.
