  • The track starts off in an interesting fashion because it’s sort of a mix between a distorted guitar, which has a terrible tone I may add, and a clean guitar sort of doubling up the part, it’s an interesting concept from Mustaine
  • Again, if you’re not one for instrumentals then don’t bother with this song, but otherwise I think it’s a pretty satisfying song for most Megadeth fans

Into The Lungs Of Hell is a song by Megadeth which appears on their record So Far, So Good… So What. Something to note about this track before we begin is that it’s an instrumental so if you aren’t typically a person who enjoys those, this wouldn’t be a song to look into.

The track starts off in an interesting fashion because it’s sort of a mix between a distorted guitar, which has a terrible tone I may add, and a clean guitar sort of doubling up the part, it’s an interesting concept

      from Mustaine.

The intro of this track really does have this royal march-like feel to it because of the way Mustaine uses outside instrumentation, including trumpets, throughout this section.

However, around forty seconds the song really picks up in speed and an extremely fast guitar solo comes in so the song certainly starts to begin to sound more like Megadeth with this solo leading the song along with a quick rhythm guitar part and a pounding drum line as well.

Thus far Into The Lungs Of Hell focuses far more on solo parts ...

      • rather than rhythm parts but this isn’t a big deal as I really enjoy hearing good guitar solos and Megadeth rarely disappoints in this department.

When I listened to the intro of this track I felt it to be somewhat odd but it certainly had this epic feel, I get the exactly same feeling at the part around two minutes into the track, except this time I feel like it fits completely well with the track but still has this very epic sound to it, Megadeth does an excellent job at building up

the music throughout this track and keeping the energy high, by the end of this track the sound really gets quite intense and chaotic even but it’s an excellent sound.

Again, if you’re not one for instrumentals then don’t bother with this song, but otherwise I think it’s a pretty satisfying song for most Megadeth fans.

Also, don’t let the intro throw you off because it is slightly disjointed from the rest of the track and the song does have a true Megadeth sound to it which comes after the first few parts of the intro.
