The LG Env2 is a good phone for people who text a lot or for people who just want an easy-to-use phone.

First, the thing that stands out in this phone is the multimedia and the straightforward layout of the menu. You can record videos, take pictures and access the Internet in only a few button clicks or less. Opening up your contacts menu to call someone is literally only one press of a button. I found this really nice when I wanted to call

someone in an instant that isn’t on my one-click-call list. Also, the phone is, overall, a small and sleek design (especially if you get it in the black color) making it easy to pull out of small pockets or when you want to store a lot of other things in your pockets (ex. keys, money etc.). Besides that, I found that the screen is really bright (which enabled me, in some instances, to use it as a flashlight), the speakers provide decent quality and the phone is very study (I’ve dropped it from about five feet up a few times, by accident, and it has survived with only minor scratches.) The two-megapixel camera for the phone is also decent with some extra features, such as taking pictures in: negative, sepia, black and white, and aqua.

One problem with the phone is that it sports an external keyboard and display in addition to its internal keyboard and display. While this enables you to make calls without having to open the phone,

it also enables to scratch the display quite easily. Also, I’ve found that that, with the numerical keyboard on the outside, the phone can unlock itself and open programs quite easily. Once, when I had turned the phone off and put it in my pocket, it had miraculously turned itself on, unlocked itself on, went into my contacts and begin to call one of my contacts. I only noticed this had happened while I began to hear the voice of one of my friends coming
from my pocket. This I believe, would be the major flaw of the phone’s design. In addition to its design, some might also find the Qwerty keyboard inside a bit smaller than other phones’ keyboards. This sometimes causes a couple typing errors and misspelled words.

Besides the design flaw, the phone is sleek, simple and has many different features. I would advise people who text a lot to get this phone, although they should probably try out the keyboard out first to see if it is comfortable for them.
