One day Mr. Krabs walks into the Krusty Krab to see a beautiful production of his first ever commercial being recorded. While he is quite excited at the progress they are making and how it is turning out, when he finds out how much this is actually going to cost him he decides that it would be better if he used the staff as actors and save himself a lot of money. If you

have not watched a lot of Spongebob before you would not know that Mr. Krabs is really cheap and any way that he can save himself any pennies, he will do so.

So they make the commercial and it airs on television, in the middle of the night when it is the cheapest, and the next day at work an older man tells him that he seen him on television yesterday. While it wasn’t Spongebob ...

      • he saw, but since Spongebob doesn’t know it wasn’t him he really thinks that he is now famous because of this commercial. He ends up quitting the Krusty Krab to become some kind of entertainer. Well, he isn’t very successful and he ends up right back at the Krusty Krab making Krabby Patties where most people would want to see him anyways.

This episode is actually one of my least favorites, just because you do

not get to see the characters in their true colors. Squidward is typically the grump of the group, and he usually brings everyone down when you see him in the shows. It does show how really cheap Mr. Krabs is, but it doesn’t bring in some of the better characters, like Sandy Cheeks. If you have not seen this episode before you might want to check it out, but don’t be disappointed if you are not impressed.
