  • When the movie finally hit the screen, a lot of people apparently also wanted to watch this movie, we got good seats though and as the movie started, the first part was already interesting, like something good is about to happen, it shows Tom Cruise searching for someone, or kind of waiting for someone, and he then bumps into Cameron, which is obvious in the movie that he does put something in her bag
  • What happens is that the bad people see Cameron and thinks she's an accomplice, so the movie is all about escaping, running, hiding, and protecting the weapon, and when Tom Cruise is in the movie, you'll definitely see lots of action
  • This movie did surprise me, I was happy to know Tom could still nail some scenes, like he is still fit for his age, because there's a scene where they are in an isolated island to hide, and Tom and Cameron are both wearing nothing but beach outfits, and they do have great figures, they have rock-hard abs at their age still

As I saw the trailer for this movie a few weeks ago, I knew I had to watch it, seeing Tom Cruise in action again, plus with funny Cameron Diaz playing as his lady love in the movie. When the movie finally hit the screen, a lot of people apparently also wanted to watch this movie, we got good seats though and as the movie started, the first part was already interesting, like something good is about to happen, it shows Tom Cruise searching for someone, or kind of waiting for someone, and he then bumps into Cameron, which is obvious in the movie that he does put something in her bag. The plot of the story is actually Tom being sort of a spy/assassin, he is protecting some sort or weapon to prevent

bad guys from stealing and using it as a weapon for war, he uses Cameron as a pawn for the small tiny weapon, just like a lighter, so that it can pass interrogation and the X-ray machines, it does pass and they again “bump” into each other and Tom gets his weapon back by helping Cameron get up, whilst taking the small weapon in her luggage. What happens is that the bad people see Cameron and thinks she’s an accomplice, so the movie is all about escaping, running, hiding, and protecting the weapon, and when Tom Cruise is in the movie, you’ll definitely see lots of action!

I had expected a lot of comedy from this movie, however there were only a few parts. Maybe the director wanted more action rather than half comedy and half action, there’s only about 20% comedy in this movie, the rest is all about running and the stuntmans getting scrapes and bruises from all those jumping and got banging around! This movie did surprise me, I was happy to know Tom could still nail some scenes, like he is still fit for his age, because there’s a scene where they are in an isolated island to hide, and Tom and Cameron are both wearing nothing but beach outfits, and they do have great figures, they have rock-hard abs at their age still! Tom at his age now can still act really good, I guess it gets better with age, and it’s just like watching a Mission Impossible sequel actually, but with less accessories and with less impersonation, Tom is Tom here, nobody else.

Cameron was her usual bubbly funny self, she’s trying hard to keep up with Tom and is panicking in the movie because she really doesn’t want to be dragged into all of this. But in the end she learns a few things from Tom and they actually make it through and kill the bad guys, Tom being an assassin of course killed them. There were really funny parts where I was almost howling with laughter, like when Tom was drugging Cameron so that she would not panic or have trauma when they are in a really bad situation, I cannot forget the scene where Tom is still shouting and speaking and talking to her, when she’s already so much drugged and sluggish and have to be carried, like he says: “We’ve been hit! I

need to take us down!” They are in the helicopter and she’s wearing goggles and her head is bobbing up and down, and the next thing is that they both skydive from the helicopter! It was such an awesome action scene, but too bad Cameron was “sleeping” in the movie, it was so funny, Cameron was really good in acting her part, too bad her character in the movie missed some action though!

This is a very good action movie that really deserves a good rating. It was my first time seeing Cameron alone as an action star also, while she did great for Charlie’s Angels, she’s just as better here, age doesn’t affect her agility yet, and this is a movie worth seeing if you’re into action and comedy, I definitely give this a rating of 9.
