  • Morrison comes in with the vocals with a good delivery to fit the song which currently has a pretty slow tempo, but I like how the guitar is primarily in the right channel with a piano part primarily in the left channel, the song sort of has a lazy blues sound to it
  • The track has a somewhat repetitive structure so if you hear the first few bits where the whole band is playing and you don’t really enjoy it, then you really aren’t going to enjoy the majority of this track and I’d recommend that you don’t listen to it if you don’t like the intro of the song
  • A nice slower piece the from The Doors which may be slightly repetitive but is still interesting and thankfully isn’t longer than it has to be, nice performance throughout and certainly a good song if you’re looking for something a bit slower

The Spy is a song by The Doors which appears on their album Morrison Hotel. The track starts off with a lazy sounding guitar riff in the right channel accompanied by a piano and bass line which give some depth to the song. Morrison comes in with the vocals with a good delivery to fit the song which currently has a pretty slow tempo, but I like how the guitar is primarily

in the right channel with a piano part primarily in the left channel, the song sort of has a lazy blues sound to it. Although I say that this song has sort of a lazy tone to it, I don’t say this in a bad fashion, the track may be slow but it does have a nice groove and rhythm to it, Morrison also sounds quite powerful with his voice as well.

      • The track has a somewhat repetitive structure so if you hear the first few bits where the whole band is playing and you don’t really enjoy it, then you really aren’t going to enjoy the majority of this track and I’d recommend that you don’t listen to it if you don’t like the intro of the song. However, if you’re like me and you enjoy the first few bits the rest of
the song is basically just based around it with some changes in dynamics and parts throughout but it primarily sticks with the mood and attitude from the intro of the track. A nice slower piece the from The Doors which may be slightly repetitive but is still interesting and thankfully isn’t longer than it has to be, nice performance throughout and certainly a good song if you’re looking for something a bit slower.
