  • Jagger starts off with a somewhat laid-back delivery but he does build up his vocals throughout his performance and plays around with dynamics which certainly gives him a nice sound of power behind his voice during some parts of the song so it’s a nice performance by him for the most part in my opinion

Cry To Me is a cover performed by The Rolling Stones which appears on their record Out Of Our Heads. The song opens up with a clean guitar part with a tempo that has a ballad feel to it.

Once Jagger comes in with the vocals my suspicion that this song would have a ballad feel and sound is only reinforced as the general tempo, rhythm, and feel of

the track is just like that of a ballad.

Jagger starts off with a somewhat laid-back delivery but he does build up his vocals throughout his performance and plays around with dynamics which certainly gives him a nice sound of power behind his voice during some parts of the song so it’s a nice performance by him for the most part in my opinion.

      The bridge of the song,

      • which comes in a bit after a minute into the track, is far more aggressive than the music thus far and Jagger certainly demonstrates the edge in his voice in this section which sounds nice.

To be honest, ballads aren’t something that I tend to listen to all that often unless they’re just brilliant and although this song is pretty solid and even quite enjoyable, I wouldn’t call it

        brilliant.

However, I must praise Jagger for really building up his vocals throughout the track and he certainly does an excellent job of leading this song.

Although Cry To Me isn’t excellent in terms of songwriting, Jagger’s voice alone makes this song worth listening to in my opinion.

Overall, it may not be a brilliant song but it’s got a nice flowing tone nonetheless and is at least worth checking out.
