  • The song opens up with a choir singing the chorus of the track which is certainly an interesting way of opening the song and I’ll praise The Stones for that as the vocals here sound great and the sound is nice and full
  • The rhythm of this song is excellent and it has both a very catchy vocal melody as well as pretty developed songwriting in my opinion, The Stones really managed to impress me on this track and this is an example of why this band is praised so highly, even today
  • The track starts off with an excellent sound and really just gets better as it goes along, although the song is about seven and a half minutes long it really doesn’t feel long to me and I’d highly recommend this song, excellent work by The Rolling Stones here

You Can’t Always Get What You Want is a song by The Rolling Stones which appears on their record Let It Be. This song is pretty well known just because of how often it’s played on the radio, but I’ll go through it anyway.

The song opens up with a choir singing the chorus of the track which is certainly an interesting way of opening the song and I’ll praise The Stones for that as the vocals here sound great and the

      sound is nice and full.

After this section the track goes into an acoustic guitar pattern in the right channel and a horn solo, yes a horn solo, in the left channel.

Jagger comes in with the vocals a bit under a minute and a half into the song with a melody which is extremely effective with the acoustic guitar pattern and a performance which sounds good overall.

The verse of the track is pretty stripped down in terms of instrumentation but ...

      • the chorus is just the opposite: various instruments come in and the sound just takes on a far more full and alive tone in my opinion.

The second verse of the track moves with a bit more energy in it and the second chorus sounds even better than the first, this track seems to be one of those which gets better as it progresses to be honest.

The rhythm of this song is excellent and it has both a very catchy vocal

melody as well as pretty developed songwriting in my opinion, The Stones really managed to impress me on this track and this is an example of why this band is praised so highly, even today.

The track starts off with an excellent sound and really just gets better as it goes along, although the song is about seven and a half minutes long it really doesn’t feel long to me and I’d highly recommend this song, excellent work by The Rolling Stones here.
