  • Delivery is expensive and burns a hole in your pocket

I recently went to an IKEA store just to be welcomed by awful traffic due to overloaded parking. Upon entrance, it seems like a place where you could spend thousands of dollars at.

The system of making cheap furniture that requires the buyer to assemble it manually is not a kind thought, but the hundreds of dollars saved stays

      appealing.

The furniture is great furniture that will last for a long time.

All of it together makes a great look for any room, and the styles are many.

But assembling the furniture is a pain to do.

With bad instructions and tough to work with parts, this product is not for someone with little time on their hands.

      • Prices? If you cannot fit your new IKEA furniture in your car, forget it.

Delivery is expensive and burns a hole in your pocket.

At this point you may as well forget it and leave.

Also, returning a broken/scraped part is tough to do.

You must drive to IKEA (costing a few dollars of gas) and then wait in

line to be told there are no replacement parts and that they will offer you $50 to stay with the part, or that if you need the part, you wait thirty minutes for them to open the package and get the part.

My Final Decision: Hype- Not very well planned, all IKEA offers is a huge selection, use your money on your local furniture store.
