I didn’t like this movie as much as I liked the first one. This is the sequel to Step Up and I think one of the main reasons I liked that movie was because of Channing Tatum. In this sequel, Channing Tatum is only in the movie for like two minutes and then you never see him again.

In this one, Channing Tatum’s character’s younger sister is now all grown up. And she loves to dance but she does so in all the young places.

For example, she does these crazy routines on

the subway train with her friends and she puts graffiti all over it. It’s ridiculous and she seems a little too crazy of a character.

Her mother died and she is living with her aunt. Her aunt keeps threatening to ship her off somewhere because she doesn’t know how to behave.

Her older brother from the previous movie gets her an audition at the same music school that he went to. The only reason she gets in is because the brother of the principal tells him to let her in.

      The principal actually ...

      • thinks she just another stupid street dancer. There is this whole battle on what is the right way to dance and she starts fighting with some street dancing group that she got kicked out of because she was never on time because of the new school she was going to.

And finally she puts together a street dancing group from her school and they start making a routine. And when they receive a text, that means they are supposed to go to the place in the text immediately to have the competition.

        Once

one of the street groups trash a room in the music school and spray paint all over it, they decide to stop doing it. Then at the end, they all show up to do it and they are rejected at first and then they say they will just go do it in the street where it started.

And then everyone loved them. I didn’t really like the plot line, it was too cliche and not all that fun to watch.

It was just an okay movie, so I would have to give it a five.
