After spending a week in London, I and a friend decided to visit Paris via EuroStar. And since we’re still on a tight budget, we booked at Ideal Hotel in Emile Zola St, Paris, France. The only affordable and transport- accessible hotel we could find. It is just a walking distance away from the metro. The place is clean and is surrounded by a number of good, affordable restaurants. Though you don’t have to eat out in the

early morning since a good, affordable breakfast meal is also available in the hotel.

The hotel staff are friendly and are fluent in English. (Note, most people in France barely speak English, they strictly speak French! Such a nightmare for non-French-speaking tourists like me.)

The hotel has a lift or an elevator, though it can only accommodate two people, or only one person if he or she is carrying a big luggage. The twin room we booked is clean ...

      • and is fairly big enough; and is furnished with side tables and one study table. The toilet or shower room (with bath tub) is quite okay. The thing I liked the most is that lots of toiletries and towels are provided. A hair dryer is provided as well. A number of power outlets are available, just make sure to bring a travel adapter with you so you can make use of those outlets. Wifi is also available, free of
charge. A room service is also available daily.

I plan to go back to Paris next year, and would definitely stay, once again, on this hotel. By the way, those planning to visit Disney Resort and don’t want to waste time queueing up for tickets, can buy their theme park tickets at the hotel’s counter. And those who love taking long walks can definitely take a leisurely walk, approximately a minimum of 25 minutes, from the hotel to the famous Eiffel Tower.
