  • Purebred Golden Retrievers * * * * 4 Stars + Excellent pets, Gentle with kids, Easily trained - Hip problems, Expensive to adopt, Need daily exercise Purebred Golden Retrievers are the best dogs to have for a pet and by that I mean they have a calm temperament around children, have a smile on their face all of the time and are generally happy dogs
  • I don't just love him because he's my dog, I love him because of the excellent disposition Retrievers are known to possess
  • We’ve noticed that true to his name, our dog likes to retrieve pool toys from the middle of the pool and drag them to the shallow side and will jump in and swim up to the kids to help them to the side if they are yelling too loud which makes the dog think they are in trouble
  • I highly recommend you at least consider a Golden if a new pet is in your future

Purebred Golden Retrievers are the best dogs to have for a pet and by that I mean they have a calm temperament around children, have a smile on their face all of the time and are generally happy dogs. We have small children in our home and even though the dog’s tail or ears are always being pulled he never

so much as growls at the children let alone snap or bite at them. I don’t just love him because he’s my dog, I love him because of the excellent disposition Retrievers are known to possess.

Golden Retrievers are excellent swimmers and love to play fetch in a lake or just swim around to cool off and play around. We’ve noticed that true to his name, our dog likes to retrieve pool toys from the middle of the pool and drag them to the shallow side and will jump ...

I feel so protected having our Retriever at home with the kids and I. Our dog has a huge bark and he hears every little noise, which keeps him patrolling the house and lawn both day and night. Anytime someone rings the doorbell he runs to the door, gives a couple of warning barks and then sits patiently until I get

there. If I greet people and let them in the house, he will walk next to them as if to say, “hello” and then lay down near where we’re sitting.

Unlike the annoying, yappy, snapping dogs that look like cats and have been made so popular by celebutantes like Paris Hilton, Purebred Golden Retrievers have a gentle nature and an actual brain that allows them to be trained easily and thoroughly. I highly recommend you at least consider a Golden if a new pet is in your future.
