  • Thus far three minutes have gone by in this song with one steady mood throughout and although I don’t think the sound is that bad, I’m somewhat bored with the track as it doesn’t really seeming to be going anywhere unfortunately
  • Overall, the song isn’t terrible or anything but personally I don’t find it all that enjoyable as it starts up in one fashion, continues on in this fashion, and ends in this same fashion, there’s far too little change in this song to be interesting in my opinion

Triad is a cover performed by Jefferson Airplane which appears on their album Crown Of Creation. Triad opens up with a simple acoustic guitar part, primarily in the right channel, before the rest of the music comes in and establishes a sort of dark yet melodic sound thanks to all of the acoustic guitars going simultaneously, some in the right channel, some in the left, and

      some straight down the middle.

Slick comes in delicately with the vocals of the track as she sings along with the continuing acoustic guitars going on.

The song maintains a very melodic sound to it throughout the first two verses and it would also have sort of a dark atmosphere as well if it wasn’t for the lyrics.

The lyrics deal with challenging accepted social conventions which is a good lyrical topic, but I wish the song would sort of begin to change in tone and actually build up to go somewhere.

        However,

all of these complaints apply more to Crosby’s original songwriting rather than Jefferson Airplane since they didn’t write the track.

Overall, the song isn’t terrible or anything but personally I don’t find it all that enjoyable as it starts up in one fashion, continues on in this fashion, and ends in this same fashion, there’s far too little change in this song to be interesting in my opinion.
