  • It's a tall order for a shampoo to hit all of these problems sufficiently, but I still hold out hope and the Organix shampoos haven't disappointed me yet
  • I bought the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo mostly because I'd tried the others and really liked them, and I enjoyed the smell of this product so much
  • As with the other products in this line, the only thing I don't like about it is that the bottle is very short and oval shaped and it makes it difficult to store on the rim of my bathtub with all my other products
  • If the bottle was shapped differently, then I wouldn't have a problem at all

I love the Organix brand of shampoos. I’ve tried a couple different ones so far and have really liked each and every one of them. My hair is very picky about the products I use on it, so I have to be careful to keep my expectations within reason ninety percent of the time, and this is one of the few brands that seem to do more than expected each and every time, no matter what kind of shampoo I’m using. My hair is very fine and it’s beginning to thin a little bit, and because I have very oil roots I have to be careful about shampoos that are a little too heavy on my hair, and I can’t even fathom adding a conditioner to the mix. The sad thing is that I really do need a conditioner on my hair because of the dry and damaged split ends that I’ve had for years now thanks to an over-abundance of hair dye at one point. It’s a tall order for a shampoo to hit all of these problems sufficiently, but I still hold out hope and the Organix shampoos

      haven’t disappointed me yet.

I bought the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo mostly because I’d tried the others and really liked them, and I enjoyed the smell of this product so much. I popped the lid in the store, and it was like walking into a beach resort where all they serve are drinks in little cocounut shells with the umbrella straws. There’s something about it that reminds me of taking a much needed vacation, and if that’s not reason enough to spend the $5 on this bottle, then I don’t know what is. As with the other products in this line, the only thing I don’t like about it is that the bottle is very short and oval shaped and it makes it difficult to store on the rim of my bathtub with all my other products. I can’t use a shower caddy because our shower head is so high up and curves down immediately after coming out of the wall and one of those caddies that hangs over the shower head would fall right off, and I just don’t trust those stupid suction cup variety of shower caddies.

I loved this product because it has all the properties in that I’ve been told over the years are excellent for your hair. Not only does it have coconut milk and oils in it, it has whipped egg white proteins in it as well. My hair is very weak and snaps at the drop of a hat, and I don’t have to worry about further damaging happening as long as I wash with this product because it adds strength to my hair thanks to the proteins in it. I’ve always been told that egg whites also help add shine to your hair, which mine has been sorely lacking over the years.

The shampoo has a great lathering capabilities, and felt very rich and thick. I almost thought it would be too heavy for my hair, but after working it in and rinsing it out I realized that was a totally misguided belief, because it rinsed out easily and completely, just leaving my hair feeling soft in its wake. Usually, when I rinse out shampoo, there’s a

squeak in my hair, and that always tells me that not only were the oils washed out, but also all the natural protectants and nutrients were washed out. And the squeak didn’t happen with this shampoo. It almost felt like I had a bit of conditioner in my hair, though this isn’t a two-in-one product like that. And the smell was so awakening and fun, and I had a lot of compliments on it that morning after I used it the first time.

I will definitely buy this shampoo again. My hair felt so soft and it had a lot of luster and shine to it that couldn’t have possibly been mistaken for oil or greasy or sweat. It was just a natural and healthy looking sheen that made me feel as if my hair was finally healthy again! My kids and husband have used it as well and enjoy the scent almost as much as I do, so it’s a product that works well for both men and women, because the scent is never overty feminine or masculine and works well in a household with girls and boys. Love this shampoo. 10
