This 2003 release was obviously meant to be a “spooky comedy” of sorts, with ghosts and zombies who come alive in their tomb in a most inconvenient time. Perhaps some kids liked it, and perhaps it was okay to watch once for

      some adults.

But to me, it was a waste of time and money.

I went to see it because of Eddie Murphy, and he was good, but he couldn’t do much to save the shallow script.

There was nothing funny in this ...

      • flick, with maybe a couple of exceptions.

A crystal ball with a woman’s head in it that talks is amusing, somewhat, when you first see it, but it quickly gets old.

The singing heads at the cemetery may give you a laugh,

        too, but that’s about it.

As to the plot… I don’t even want to waste time on it, mine and yours.

Shallow and silly, with quite a few gaping holes that’s the way to describe it.

What a waste of Eddie Murphy and special effects.
