When I saw the Pasta Express on television, I had to get one. My wife and I are constantly eating pasta and, even if all it did was free up a burner on our

stove, it was worth the investment.

After using it for the first time, I have a mixed opinion of it.

It does cook pasta like it claims and it was relatively simple to use.

Put the pasta in, add boiling water, close the lid.

However, what I learned is, I still need to use my stove.

My largest measuring cup holds 2 cups.

      cups of water.

If I boil the water in the microwave, it takes me three tries to fill the pasta express.

That means, I need to get out my tea kettle and boil the

      water on the stove.

When you take that into account, the Pasta Express doesn’t really save you any time or effort.

The only real advantages is you can use it to strain the pasta afterwards and it looks really cool.
