      Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance is ostensibly a continuation of the Baldur’s Gate series for the playstation, though I honestly think it doesn’t have much to do with that classic game. Never the less it’s a great game in its own right. Where the original two Baldur’s Gate games were deep intrigue interactive stories, the new games are hack and slash adventures, mostly about fighting lots

      of monsters and accumulating gold, weapons, skills, and levels. Dark Alliance is quite repetitive in its battle system; usually the best way of fighting enemies is to repeatedly mash the “x” button until enemies are dead, while keeping an eye on your health and using potions as necessary.         Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is an attractive game, the graphics are great, and it’s fun to explore the maps. It’s

        also exciting to advance the storyline, even if it is a bit basic; you know, an evil plot to take over some towns and some nasty bad guys you have to rumble.

        I really enjoyed these games for these and many other reasons. It’s worth a look if you are into hack and slash games; I guess it can be best compared to the Diablo series of games.
