Off the new Slash album, Nothing to Say by Slash is a song featuring vocals by The M Shadows off Avenged Sevenfold. It starts off with a creepy laugh by Slash and goes into a dark riff that goes into another riff into the verse of the song. I really like the heavy tone on Slash’s guitar on this one it’s really a change from his classic rock style of

I really like the heavy blues lick that he does before M. Shadows starts singing.

You can really tell that his whole playing entirely is just faster then it ever was. It is most likely a result from him being sober.

I also really like the raw power of M. Shadows voice.

He’s always been one of those singers in rock that can really belt out high notes live.

Its hard to explain unless you listen to the song. When performed live the band of Slash uses three guitars.

One for the leads by Slash, another for the arpegiated chords during the verses and another for the open riff that Myles Kennedy plays. Myles also sings the song live too.

is ok but I like the way M. Shadows sings it better.

I give him credit though for being able to sing those songs on the album, as well as the ones that he wrote for it which are the songs Starlight and Back From Cali. My favorite part of the song is the solo because Slash just wails like Yngwie Malmsteen and the ending feedback he does for the outro.
