  • It's really a pretty obnoxious problem and I've taken everything under (and over) the sun to try to treat the allergies and they symptoms associated with them
  • So, when I found ViraBloc Lozenges when I was experiencing one of my many sore throats throughout the year, I was pretty excited to try it
  • I really did feel that the soothing properties of this were quite appropriate to treat the sore throat I was experiencing, so it's definitely not JUST a preventative measure
  • However, that sore throat for me would normally end up turning into a chest cold, which I get about five times a year, though they are mild and don't last very long, and this time around, because I'd been taking these lozenges on the onset of the sore throat, I didn't experience any other cold or flu symptoms at all
  • I haven't used it often, because it is one of the more expensive herbal remedies out there, especially when you consider that you get so little for the price, and I ended up going with a elderberry tablet supplement that was much cheaper and just as effective at keeping colds away

Lately, the only time I really get a cold of any kind is actually as a result of my sinuses. I have pretty severe allergies for most of the year, with a couple months in winter being the only exception to that rule, and sometimes my sinuses are so congested that they’ll drain into my chest, causing sore throats and chest colds. It’s really a pretty obnoxious problem and I’ve taken everything under (and over) the sun to try to treat the allergies and they symptoms associated with them. After a while, I just plain got fed up with taking over-the-counter or prescription medications because they just aren’t healthy for you to take long-term, and I have a couple of friends who have turned me

on to the idea of using herbal supplements to treat many of the problems I’ve experienced, and I have to say that, for the most part, these herbal supplements that I’ve tried have really made a difference in my life. I still turn to conventional medicine here and there when nothing else seems to touch my problem, but if I can find an herbal remedy for it, I’ll definitely try that first.

So, when I found ViraBloc Lozenges when I was experiencing one of my many sore throats throughout the year, I was pretty excited to try it. It has elderberry extract in it, which is supposed to help boost the immune system. It’s pretty expensive, though, at $15 for 15 lozenges, so it’s not ...

      • for everyone, and I was hoping that it would really work. Most lozenges I’m popping one right after the other because they lose their effectiveness fifteen minutes after you’ve finished sucking on one. This lozenge is more as a preventative measure, but it’s still soothing so I knew it would help alleviate some of the sore throat. You take one lozenge twice a day, and mostly its supposed to keep the cold and flu bugs away.

I really did feel that the soothing properties of this were quite appropriate to treat the sore throat I was experiencing, so it’s definitely not JUST a preventative measure. However, that sore throat for me would normally end up turning into a chest cold, which I get about five

times a year, though they are mild and don’t last very long, and this time around, because I’d been taking these lozenges on the onset of the sore throat, I didn’t experience any other cold or flu symptoms at all. It never progressed into anything else, and I was so pleased to know that I could count on this product. I haven’t used it often, because it is one of the more expensive herbal remedies out there, especially when you consider that you get so little for the price, and I ended up going with a elderberry tablet supplement that was much cheaper and just as effective at keeping colds away. But, when I have a sore throat, I’ll definitely invest the money in these again.
