The Fisherman is a scary horror story from the anthology Vile Things: Extreme Deviations of Horror. This anthology contains many stories of horror collected from various places and all by different authors. I had not read a story by Brian Rosenberger before, and had not heard of him.

I knew early on what the man’s secret was and what the main character would do about it. Although the story was enjoyable, it would have been better if I had not been able to predict how it went.

Nevertheless, it was fun to read.
