  • I also want to note that although John Paul Jones’ base isn’t extremely prominent in the mix, although it’s at a pretty reasonable level, I’d recommend paying attention to it since he definitely has some nice parts throughout the song

Celebration Day is a track by Led Zeppelin which appears on Led Zeppelin III. I’m not exactly sure what opens up this track, I assume it’s Page’s guitar with some extremely odd effect on it, but whatever it is, it certainly has a unique sound.

Plant soon joins in with the vocals of this track before giving way to Page’s guitar riff which sounds excellent, right now everything is

flowing very nicely among Page, Plant, Bonham, and Jones.

By the time the second verse comes around a steady rhythm has been developed and the song has a much more definitive flow and rhythm to it, which makes listening more enjoyable, and each of the parts are flowing very nicely together.

I also want to note that although John Paul Jones’ base isn’t extremely prominent in the mix, although ...

The track continues on with a lot of music happening simultaneously which slightly makes the song sound very chaotic and hectic but somehow it still all comes together in a very coherent fashion to create a great piece of music.

As the song approaches the close it

seems as if the tempo gradually increases bit by bit which also adds to this very hectic feel but this isn’t meant to discourage a listener, the sound is just very alive and full of energy rather than just messy and an incoherent mess.

Overall, Celebration Day is certainly a song which demonstrates just how well each of the members of Zeppelin work together in a very energetic and fluid song.
