  • Thus far nothing has impressed me all that much, although there are some nice piano parts throughout the song, the overall music of the track doesn’t strike me as anything all that special and I’m not exactly sure just how well the music and the vocals go together on this track
  • However, I will say that after this bridge comes in the song takes a slightly darker tone with a lot more guitar driven influence and the sound becomes a lot more interesting compared to the first half of the song which has just played, the rhythm and the overall sound here is just a lot more interesting to me
  • Plant also seems to have a bit more attitude in his voice in this section, although I liked his delivery in the first half, it struck me as somewhat boring, but then again, the music in the first section isn’t that great either
  • If Zeppelin would’ve expanded on this darker section then I believe that the song would’ve been significantly better, but as it is, I can’t say I enjoy this song all that much

Down By The Seaside is a track by Led Zeppelin which appears on Physical Graffiti. Down By The Seaside starts out with a guitar introduction by Page, which has some type of effect on it which I’m not really sure how to classify.

Plant then joins in with a very melodic delivery which I suppose I would describe as somewhat delicate.

piano parts throughout the song, the overall music of the track doesn’t strike me as anything all that special and I’m not exactly sure just how well the music and the vocals go together on this track.

Also, the transition at about halfway into the song from the chorus to the bridge comes very abruptly and has an awkward sound to it.

However, I will say that after this bridge comes in the song takes ...

Unfortunately, this darker part which I’m talking about doesn’t last for very long and the song then goes back into the sort of boring first half which I talked about.

If Zeppelin would’ve expanded on this darker section then I believe that the song would’ve been significantly better, but as it is, I can’t say I enjoy this song all that much.
