  • It’s Only Rock ‘N Roll (But I Like It) is a track by The Rolling Stones and the title track to their record It’s Only Rock ‘N Roll
  • This track is about five minutes long and I will comment that although it doesn’t drag on for too long, I think that it could’ve been shortened slightly as nothing really new comes into the song after the guitar solo, it just sort of repeats what’s already been said and drags the song on which wasn’t really needed

It’s Only Rock ‘N Roll (But I Like It) is a track by The Rolling Stones and the title track to their record It’s Only Rock ‘N Roll. This track opens up in a pretty laid-back way and the rhythm is pretty relaxed and the first verse of the song continues on in this manner but it does gradually build up more and more before leading to the chorus of

the song which is significantly more alive than the verse of the song and has more of an in your face sound, for lack of a better phrase. The song then goes back into verse two, which like verse one, also starts out in a pretty relaxed fashion and gradually builds up before it gets into the chorus which is again a lot more alive sounding. Thus far you can ...

      • see the song follows a pretty traditional structure and you could guess that the bridge and possibly a guitar solo would come next, and they both indeed do. As the title would imply, this song basically just follows a traditional rock structure of verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, solo, etc. so there’s nothing all that impressive here but I will say that although the arrangement and structure isn’t anything great,
the flow throughout the entire song sounds very natural and the parts work together nicely. This track is about five minutes long and I will comment that although it doesn’t drag on for too long, I think that it could’ve been shortened slightly as nothing really new comes into the song after the guitar solo, it just sort of repeats what’s already been said and drags the song on which wasn’t really needed.
