The drama of this thirty minute animated show, Stargate: Infinity: Big Mistake, revolves around a desert world where it rarely rains. Seattle leads Major Gus Bonner’s team in trying to help the people by finding water underground. Then they discover there is also a power source somewhere below. This excites Seattle,

who speculates excitedly about giving the inhabitants to ability to use electricity. She lets her enthusiasm get the best of her, though.

This cartoon series uses flashbacks quite a bit to further the current story, and in this case, Seattle has a memory of her childhood when her father refused to admit it was ...

      • a mistake for his family to have left the reservation. It was actually an interesting balance between not giving up and refusing to admit to being wrong.

It takes a while for Seattle to understand her flashback. It seems the energy she’s trying to harness has a life of its own, and it

almost destroys the inhabitants and their food crops. She learns a valuable lesson in the process and has to apologize.

There’s a bunch of action in this outing with the green energy force proving to be difficult to handle. It’s not too bad. As I often say, it’s okay, but nothing all that stellar.
