Here’s a show to combat video games. Stargate: Infinity: Reality focuses on a world where the inhabitants are found in an auditorium, all playing some virtual reality game and turning into vegetables in the process. I liken this plot device to Stargate SG-1’s The Gamekeeper, where SG-1 was plugged into a seat

to experience memories while being artificially kept alive, as the people in this program are.

The character of Seattle, the Navajo cadet who is often able to sense things, insists that the team figure out how to get the people out of the games, but the leader of the society says that they have to ...

      • choose to exit the game. Seattle’s back story here is a good one, too, and aids the tale being told. Ultimately, she enters the virtual reality to try and save the people, especially since their city is in danger of being destroyed.

When Seattle is lost inside the game, Major Gus Bonner has

to go in after all. He dreams about being promoted to general before finally getting to his task.

Stargate: Infinity: Reality was a decent show. There’s plenty of action, and the message comes across loud and clear. I did like Seattle finally getting to be center stage in one of these cartoon stories.
