Have Gun - Will Travel: The Revenger, the third outing for the fifth season of this half hour, black and white western starring Richard Boone, has Paladin going to Yuma, Arizona. To get there, he takes a stagecoach, and it’s a crowded ride. I’m not sure I’ve seen so many riders on

      one coach before.

There’s Paladin, a major and his wife, a sheriff and his prisoner, and one other man. It’s definitely crowded. I feel bad for the horses.

It’s a decent cast. Rayford Barnes is the annoying prisoner, Jelly Wilson. Anthony Caruso appears as a Mexican named Solomon who stops the stagecoach; ...

      • and Harry Carey Jr. plays the sheriff, who actually has his own questionable reputation and actually proves to be pretty stupid.

The dilemma happens after the coach is stopped. It seems that one of Solomon’s men had his girl murdered by a man aboard the stagecoach, only before he can say who it was,

he’s killed. What to do now.

The story had an intriguing beginning that ends up being lost because the story occurs before Paladin ever gets to Yuma. Even the coach story has an interesting start that fizzles and turns into an average plot. This could have been really good, but instead, it faded to disappointment.
