Sony Walkmans can be fairly expensive, but for 80 bucks, you can get the Walkman E series 8 gig. They have a 16 gig for more money.

First of all, it comes in two colors: Red and Black. It’s very small, shorter than an iPod, but a little thicker.

If you get the 80 doller pack, it will come with the Player, and a USB cable, that’s it. You will have to buy a recharger seperately. But a 15 dollar generic plug-in thing from WalMart should do fine. There is a slightly more expensive package that you

can get that will have the recharger with it. (Note: You can use any USB cable to connect to your computer)

Putting music on the player is very easy. You can use Windows Media Player, or anything. The software is already built into the player and will have to be installed on the computer. However, if you want cover art on it, good luck. It’s almost impossible! I have tried forever to get cover art on the player, IT WON’T WORK! Somehow (if you Google it) you can find out how to get cover art on it.

      The sound ...

      • is okay. Not the greatest. The battery life is, well…, okay. Usually, after a couple hours of listening, I’m down Three bars (instead of four). It depends on if you change tracks often, how long you listen, and such.

It’s easy to use. Which is good. When you hit a button, it clicks really loud.

When it’s on, after thirty seconds of leaving it alone, it will fade out. Which may be bad. If you hit a button when it’s in your pocket, it will fade out and it won’t even look like it’s on. Your waisting your

battery, and you don’t even know it. It does, however, have a “HOLD” button which locks the buttons, so that problem is eliminated.

It does have radio, however it’s only FM radio. I’m not a fan of AM radio, but some people are.

It also had a place that you can store Pictures and Videos and see them right on the bright, colorful screen.

BOTTOM LINE: Very stylish, good, slim, reletively chep multimedia player. With some problems, it is still a very good electronic to have. However you can buy MP3 players that are half the price (Maybe Free) that are just as good.
