  • I really love me a good body wash, and I've spent many a dollar and many a day on the hunt for as many good bath and body products as I can find
  • It cost about $7, but it's a large 18 ounce bottle, so it's not all that bad when you stop to think about it
  • Now I know to definitely associate it with bath and body, because those two ingredients made a wonderful combination for me
  • Food smells in my bath and body products, such as vanilla, apple cinnamon, spice, and things like that are some of my most favored smells, and don't irritate my sinuses at all like the flower smells can, so this one went immediately on my list of smells that I like

I really love me a good body wash, and I’ve spent many a dollar and many a day on the hunt for as many good bath and body products as I can find. My husband loves Aveeno lotions, and says it’s one of the few lotions he can stand to put anywhere near his skin (since he’s so picky about the consistency of lotions), and I loved the lotion too, so Aveeno had already proved itself to us as far as I was concerned. And then a friend of mine told me how important it was to get rid of those bars of soap which are so harsh on your skin, and invest in some body wash that is far more refreshing and kind to skin, especially as we age. I’m in my thirties now, so taking care of my skin is becoming more of importance to

me than it was even five years ago.

This product, the Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Nourishing Hydrating Body Wash was fabulous. It cost about $7, but it’s a large 18 ounce bottle, so it’s not all that bad when you stop to think about it. One thing that intrigued me is that, sure it had the typical shea butter, but it also had fig in it, which isn’t a product I typically associate with bath and body products. Now I know to definitely associate it with bath and body, because those two ingredients made a wonderful combination for me. First off, it just plain smelled great! The smell was very mild, and almost smelled like a food, but essentially… those are the ingredients used in it! Food smells in my bath and body products, such as vanilla, apple cinnamon, spice, and things like that are some of ...

      • my most favored smells, and don’t irritate my sinuses at all like the flower smells can, so this one went immediately on my list of smells that I like. In a way, it reminded me of summer vacations at the pool, because it has a sort of sunlotion scent to it. Not a bad memory to have brought to the forefront when using this body wash. Not bad at all.

And I have to say that it really did make my skin feel fabulous. I like products that feel a little heavier, because my skin is very dry, and I’m usually applying lotion three times a day to my legs anyway, especially in the winter months, so when I poured some of this onto a sponge and saw how thick it looked coming out of the bottle, I was immediately in love. It didn’t foam very well,

which was disappointing, because I do so love my foam, but it still managed to feel like it was lathering, even if it didn’t look like it, and a little bit really went a long way to give me a very thorough wash. When I got out of the shower and dried off, my legs still felt incredibly smooth. YOu know how sometimes if you dry off your wet skin, and run your hands over it, it’s almost squeaky (as in “squeaky clean”)? Well, there was no occurance of that here, and it felt baby smooth without at all feeling even the slightest bit oily or greasy at all, and it never ended up irritating my skin or clogging more pores or anything either, even after a month of use. The bottle lasted me almost two months, so it was definitely worth the investment, and I’ll definitely buy it again.
