  • I think they rather focus more on accessory design than fine jewelry craftsmanship
  • I noticed a few of the cheap accessories they sell appeared to have a sketchy quality, they’re not afraid to do crude baroque ornamentations even though the materials can be as practically cheap as plastic, just like this most recent purchase I made, an Erickson Beamon Crystal Snowflake earrings
  • I love the frosted quality of the crystals set on acetate, a translucent plastic which holds all the crystals into place
  • Many of the people remark that they’ve never seen such pair of earrings before and that they find it interesting
  • I definitely suggest you check out Erickson Beamon’s fancy jewels cum fashion accessories

While Erickson Beamon may sound unheard-of, to me the name rings a bell - not mainly on the prestige jewelry market, but in the fashion scene. I got to check some of their pieces commissioned for high-fashion brands, as well as a little of the items they did in collaboration with target, if I remember correctly. Well I find that they are pretty crafty with their designs, though the simple materials they use don’t merit any value. It’s truly the handcrafted appeal of their merchandise which seems to be their selling point. I think they rather focus more on accessory design than fine jewelry craftsmanship. This pair of dangling chandelier earrings really set the standard for a relaxed but elegant glamorous evening affair. It’s not glinting like diamonds. The earrings are a cascade of crystals arranged in a concentric halo pattern. The crystals are no precious gemstones either, just flat non-refracting kind of material. I love the frosted quality of the crystals set on acetate, a translucent plastic which holds all the crystals into place. The acetate outlines the crystals which if hit by light, really gives the impression of solid ice. But I think,

      • I can simply wear the earrings in style, in the absence of a pendant necklace just to look gorgeous, together with a little black or white dress.

Many of the people remark that they’ve never seen such pair of earrings before and that they find it interesting. Actually, for persons with a penchant for jewelry, we would rather not want to be flattered about one’s shimmering bijou. Because it’s an understatement for saying: oh! You’re wearing a fake! It’s a different case if one’s flaunting a simple but compelling stone such as diamond, where people are convinced not to say anything. When it comes to faux metal of any kind, my ears usually react to it and become red. This set of earrings

may be hefty adornments but it hasn’t given me any bad reactions.

The crystals hang loosely for about 2 inches below the ears without touching my shoulders. These earrings have a certain antique style, similar to the old art deco objects you might see inside a baroque church. I had no regrets paying 400 dollars for these earrings, coz just like buying a pair of prada shoes, you get that self-gratification. For me, this is really a good pair of fashionable statement earrings, an accessory that’s meant to strike up a conversation. I definitely suggest you check out Erickson Beamon’s fancy jewels cum fashion accessories. It’s an entry-level handmade jewelry.
