  • I bought this flashlight years ago at a store here in Hawaii to use when I was fishing, kayaking, and diving
  • I paid forty-five dollars for the light four years ago or so, and it has been worth every penny
  • I would highly recommend this flashlight to anyone, for any purpose
  • It’s durable but for the issue if it is dropped just right, and batteries hold their charge wonderfully for this flashlight unlike others I have used in the past who go through batteries like wildfire

I bought this flashlight years ago at a store here in Hawaii to use when I was fishing, kayaking, and diving. I am in love with it, and have never needed another light since buying this one. I paid forty-five dollars for the light four years ago or so, and it has been worth every penny. When the Energizer rechargeable batteries I use with it are fully charged, this light will shine a good forty feet, and the whole area is highly visible. The color of the light is a nice, cool, white light,

and cuts through the water wonderfully. Of course, this was its main purpose! If you are in pitch black clear water, the light will shine a good twenty feet and light up anything within its reach. The angle of your view is about forty-five degrees, meaning you don’t have to point it directly at what you want to see, and it lights up a decent size area of about ten feet in diameter, starting at about ten feet out.

The head of the light is twisted to turn it off and on, and this head ...

      • that gets the most wear has gone clear after about 3 years. All of the black waterproof paint has worn off this section of the flashlight, so I was forced to wrap waterproof tape around it to direct the light and keep it from shining back in my face. A family member owned one of these lights as well, and found that if dropped on the head, it will break the thin plastic threaded ring that holds the flashlights head onto the body; this, unlike the paint wearing off from the head of the
unit, is a permanent break, no way to fix it as it breaks the waterproof seal for good.

I would highly recommend this flashlight to anyone, for any purpose. It is great for the water recreational sports like diving, boating, and fishing, but at the same time it is perfect for camping trips and household use just the same. It’s durable but for the issue if it is dropped just right, and batteries hold their charge wonderfully for this flashlight unlike others I have used in the past who go through batteries like wildfire!
