  • I had tried another kind of Walgreens sleep aid a while back and wasn't overly impressed with it, because after taking three an hour before bed, I honestly didn't feel very tired at all, and it didn't help me stay asleep at night, which is one of my biggest problems I've had to deal with over the last twenty years
  • But, Walgreens is a good company, with great prices, and I generally have at least SOME luck with their store brand products so I was willing to give them another shot and tried Walgreens Sleep II Nighttime Sleep-Aid Tablets Tablets which was only $4 for 72 tablets (on sale) and that's by far the best deal I've ever found for sleep aids
  • Within the next half hour, I think, I was asleep, but it took far longer than I was anticipating for it to work, and tasted bad in the process

only $4 for 72 tablets (on sale) and that’s by far the best deal I’ve ever found for sleep aids.

I’ve tried a whole lot of things over the last fifteen years or so, when I was old enough to start taking something to help me sleep.

My sleep disorder is a constant presence in my life despite a change in diet and exercise (and it’s even been proven now that exercise is not directly linked to sleep patterns anyway), and I’ve done a lot of research on the possible causes of sleep disorders and even did a few college papers on ...

      • it back in the day.

I was hoping this particular Walgreens Sleep II would help better than the other generic product I tried.

The tablets dissolve in your mouth before you really have time to drink anything, and I’m not entirely sure they’re meant to dissolve.

It tastes horrible when it happens though.

The box says to take two right at bedtime, and at 11pm, I took two.

I was still awake at midnight, but was slowly starting to feel sleep take over.

Within the next half hour, I think, I was asleep, but it took far longer than I was anticipating

for it to work, and tasted bad in the process.

Plus, I still woke up a couple times in the middle of the night, though not as often as I would if I hadn’t taken anything.

I woke up feeling groggy and that’s not a feeling I want to start my day with since I’m not much of a morning person anyway.

In the end, it worked better than the other Walgreens sleeping pill that I tried, but still nowhere near as good as some others.

I guess this is one of those sad instances in which you truly do get what you pay for.
