There’s nothing like a good Al Pacino movie but this wasn’t one of them. 88 minutes is a thriller that will confuse you until the very end.

Mostly because the things that happen in it are so unrealistic and unbelievable that you think “there must be something more,” yet at the end, there is

      still not more.

There are a few twists to the plot that are interesting but not particularly original.

Pacino seemed bored and low-key through much of the film, showing less emotion than you would expect from someone who was under a death threat.

The female characters were a bit flaky and sometimes their motives ...

      • were unclear.

This movie tried to be complex and engaging, but it just kind of fell flat.

The setup should have been longer, and the “bad guys” characters should have been delved into more so than the various women who were “suspects” throughout the film.

I found it hard to believe a psychologist would

be as dumb as the main character here.

Usually they are portrayed as being brilliant and able to use their skills to save themselves or others in a movie.

They didn’t do a very good job of playing that up in 88 Minutes.

I felt the movie was a waste of 88 minutes of MY time.
