Wilshire Blvd. is one of the main streets of Los Angeles, winding through the city, connecting with many of the main highways and eventually taking drivers to the Pacific Ocean.

Wilshire offers a great pass through the city.

It hits the 405, 5 and 110 highways and is easily accesible from

      the 10.

      Wilshire Blvd.

is so long that it is difficult to review it broadly, however it offers an alternative to highway driving and can sometimes offer a quicker route to a city location.

      Driving Wilshire can be difficult.

During rush hour, both in the morning and after normal business hours,

      • Wilshire often becomes bogged and slow.

In some areas street parking is available making it especially dangerous as cars may may try to park and pull out.

Wilshire is also heavily used by buses, which often block lanes and pull into and out of traffic.

Especially during rush hour, Wilshire is

not enjoyable to drive, but during the day when traffic is lighter, it can be a realativly smooth venture.

I would say that though Wilshire doesn’t offer a pleasant drive, its position in the city of Los Angeles makes it a crucial road and important landmark.

If drivers use caution it can be a decent drive.
