  • It’s interesting that on the debut record he didn’t have too many major vocal parts then he progressively got more and more until he basically took on a second lead vocalist for Mezmerize and Hypnotize, just something to point out

ATWA, or Air, Trees, Water, Animals, is a track by System Of A Down which appears on Toxicity and is based on Charles Manson as the title is a phrase coined by him. This song is another track which can basically be described as a power ballad, although not to a very large extent, just because the structure goes from

a lighter verse to a heavy chorus. Something to take note of in this track is that Daron Malakian has a much larger vocal part than he typically does in an average System song. • on a second lead vocalist for Mezmerize and Hypnotize, just something to point out. I’d say that the first half of the track, before the song builds up, is average but after the guitar solo and once Tankian and the music really starts to build up is where the track starts to sound its best. I’d say that this song
is alright, although there’s really nothing on here that’s truly brilliant, but there’s certainly better songs to be listening to on Toxicity. Malakian and Tankian sound good together on this track but there’s really nothing on here, whether it be lyrics or music, that really impresses me and would make me really want to go out of my way to listen to this song.
